Is a job as a fireman fun?

For the most part, yes. But, it has its moments. I've been doing it for 21 years and I enjoy helping others, teaching the community about fire safety and being involved with the community. But there are those days when you wish you never got up that morning. The days that with all your training, skill and experience, you just couldn't save that life and you have to let them go. But luckily those days are few and far between and the job is fun!
