Roommate who hates other people's noise?

In a roommate situation, everyone involved needs to be willing to compromise so that all parties can live together in relative harmony. Note that I said "compromise." This does not mean that you have to unquestioningly give in to unreasonable requests for silence. You have the right to listen to music/television. If the roomate cannot tolerate a reasonable amount of noise, he should live on his own. You can't have three other people basically held hostage to one person's sensitivity.
