Yes you can. I know it sounds dumb, but before you join...the recruiter has to do a medical "evaluation" of sorts... Basically he and you need to hunt around and find all your old doctors and get medical waivers signed. The waiver is basically saying that your 100% healthy, and whatever happened to you in the past will not affect your ability to defend the nation.
