I have a wood coffee table with a gl top and.......?

when ever you wanna kick your feet up on the table and relax,the gl top shifts around,i have put these clear plastic adhesive discs on the corners of the gl top,but they dont work well!!! how can i secure the gl top to the table?????????its 1/4" gl
