Are we starting to see a rise of "The Crazies" as told by the Hollywood elite?

First we have a Kentucky woman who went to Harvard and had the gall to shoot her co-workers. Then we have the "Tax Terrorist" who had issues with his 401k. I haven't seen the movie "The Crazies" but it I might go see what its about in yet another odd coincidence of a series of unfortunate events
