Am I right to be offended?

OK. Background info - Both my parents are corporate high flyers. I have pretty much run the household since I was 10-Cleaning, cooking, ironing, caring for my two younger sisters etc. I am pretty good at cooking now, and good with young kids. However I work full time, run my own business, also teaching music and dancing after hours on the side, run a youth ministry, run my families household, babysit for friends, be sociable, travel and a whole lot more. But people are alway saying to me "You are going to be such a little mum." or "what a great wife you'll make" and so on in an extremely condescending way. I have to admit this irritates me, because I feel I am more then simply a "housewife-to-be". I am just so sick of been told that that is all I will be in my life. And lately it has just been getting on my nerves. I am not sure whether I am just over reacting, or have any right to be offended by these CONSTANT remarks. Would you be? Would you, or should I say anything?
